Comprehensive Pediatric Medical Care
At College Plaza Pediatrics, board-certified pediatricians Drs. Melissa Morgan and Joseph Fritzky along with Board Certified Nurse Practitioners Barbara Baggstrom and Michelle Bartlett, provide comprehensive, high-quality pediatric healthcare to patients from birth to age 21. “We collectively have more than 100 years of experience in dealing with issues ranging from infant prematurity care to childhood development disorders to teenage issues,” Dr. Morgan says.
Patient-Oriented Pediatric Care
The physicians and nurse practitioners provide sensitive, compassionate pediatric care while partnering with parents to put children on the path to optimal health and well-being. They ensure patients and families are always treated with respect and receive personalized attention. The patient-oriented practice evening and Saturday hours, as well as telemedicine consults.
“We’re committed to offering exceptional pediatric healthcare that’s accessible for today’s busy working families,” Michelle Bartlett, APN says.
Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE)
Research shows that 1 in 4 children and teens experience anxiety and depression. Approximately 25% of these children and teens do not receive treatment due to the large shortage of mental health providers across the United States. The research also shows that patients are most comfortable discussing such sensitive concerns with their primary provider.
Depression and anxiety are treatable and there is hope for positive change. Our providers at College Plaza Pediatrics are here to help. As an alternative to traditional mental health treatment, the Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE) program offers a 7-session evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) program delivered to children and teens who are experiencing depression and anxiety. Patients are offered a series of skill-building activities.
Michelle Bartlett, APN is a licensed COPE provider.
Please call our office to learn more and to schedule your child’s consult.
